The Board of UC Regents met at UC San Francisco on November 14 and 15. UCSA President Siegel Singh provided remarks on Thursday about UCSA campaign progress, Regents campus engagement, and importance of joint lobbying between students, UCOP, and the state. All UC Regents were in attendance except Eloy Ortiz Oakley.

AFSCME 3299 members provided public comment about their contract negotiations & held an action outside UCSF joined with students.
UC Regents approve UC budget proposal with up to $7.5 million dedicated to specifically to support basic needs (Advocated on behalf of Student Regent Graves & Student Regent Designate Weddle). Regent Butler particularly asked the board if they were considering student priorities as discussed in public comment and committee remarks.*
The board approved the creation of a Special Committee on Basic Needs with the intention of producing a report on long-term solution to housing and food security.*
Presentation of updates to the Independent Assessment of Audit Implementation report.* We were curious to see if any Regents would bring up the recommendation of narrowing salary ranges. This conversation did not come up.
Presentation on UCPath and troubleshooting issues affecting both students and employees: UCPath staff representative mentioned that the UCPath implementation into UCLA and UCSB had a 99% success rate. They said, “the payroll issue is a very significant issue and will look at creating a study to solicit evaluation.”
Amendment to policy on appointment of student regent and adoption of student regent nomination procedures.* Updated procedure to include UC Graduate Professional Council as a formal organization involved in student regent nomination process.
