Present a Workshop at Congress!

Thank you for your interest in presenting a workshop at the 2015 UC Student Congress. We will consider all submissions and get back to you shortly if students want to see your workshop included in our program this year.

Save the Date: Congress 2015 is set for August 13 – 16 at the Irvine Marriott! The UC Student Congress is UCSA’s annual conference where students across the UC convene to discuss and prioritize issues impacting students, culminating in the voting and selection of UCSA’s two-year campaign. The campaign chosen at Congress will aim to win victories that improve students’ lives and build student power by investing and engaging more students for the following two years.

The deadline to submit this application is Monday, July 20, 2015 at 6:00pm PST.

About GRADE

Grade is our Graduate student campaign to democratize the hiring and evaluation practices of UC faculty members. We are currently conducting a survey of department chairs in order to better understand how policies around graduate student involvement on hiring committees are being put into practice. We hope to use this information to collect best practices and propose new statewide standards for full, permanent representation on all hiring committees. [Read more…] about About GRADE

Student Advocates to the Regents (StARs) are students chosen by UCSA to attend Board of Regents meetings and speak on behalf of student priorities. UCSA is now accepting applications for Student Advocates to the Regents (StARs) for the March 18-19 Regents Meeting. Apply online by visiting the UCSA StARs Page. The deadline to apply is Thursday, March 5th at 5PM.
