Type: Full time, 40+ hours/week, occasional evenings and weekends. Minimum two-year commitment requested.
Salary: Based on experience. 10% raise after first year.

Organization Description
The University of California Student Association is a coalition of student governments of ten UC campuses, representing over 210,000 undergraduate, graduate, and professional students. UCSA educates and organizes students around higher education issues and empowers students to advocate on their own behalf for the accessibility, affordability, and quality of the University of California system.
General Position Description
A management staff position, under the supervision of the Executive Director, the Legislative Director provides policy, administrative and program support to the UCSA Board of Directors regarding legislative issues of concern to current and potential students of higher education. The Legislative Director works in coordination with the Legislative Committee of the Board of Directors to develop and carry out campaign and legislative priorities.
