It's less than one month until the November 2 Statewide General Election! Check out the fresh new “all in one place” resource center from the nonpartisan Easy Voter Guide Project to  help new voters and busy voters get ready for this important election. The site offers multi-lingual videos and handouts that cover why voting is important, what you need to do to vote, and what’s on the November ballot – all in the Easy Voter Guide visual and accessible style. Vote videos 

  • New Videos on Why Do You Vote?  and Are You Ready to Vote? —hear people tell their reasons in their own voices why they take the time to cast their vote in every election and how they help demystify the process (in English and Spanish).
  • Hold a Voting Workshop—download an outline for yourself or your organization and handouts to participants.
  • Download the popular Voting is as Easy as 1-2-3 handout, recently updated in English, Spanish, Chinese, Korean, Vietnamese. Use the Fast Facts handouts to learn about State Ballot Measures and California ’s State Budget and Taxes (English and Spanish).
  • Enter a Video Contest, co-sponsored by the League of Women Voters of California Education Fund, the Foundation for California Community Colleges and the Student Senate for California Community Colleges, and produce a 30-second video on Why Vote? Win $500 and the chance to be featured on statewide television.

This program will provide speakers for your event on voter education basics and the contents of the Easy Voter Guide.
