Joey Freeman is a junior at the University of California, Berkeley where he is concentrating his studies on the American City and Public Policy. Outside of the classroom, he serves as External Affairs Vice President, a position charged with representing over 37,000 students to the local, state, and federal levels of government. Within UCSA, he is the Board Finance Officer, which enables him to help ensure the organization is on solid financial footing. Born and raised in Los Angeles, Joey has been active in local politics and has worked in senior roles on several municipal and statewide campaigns. Most recently, he interned in Washington D.C. for United States Senator Maria Cantwell (D-Washington).
